Best wishes to Head Coach Kelbi Coleman and her Lady Indians as they finish their playoff run (four rounds) and a very successful 2026 season. <><><><> The LIPAN INDIANS baseball team (10-14-1) ended their 2026 season against the Crawford Pirates (21-6-1) as the Pirates took their best of three series 2-1 by scores of 2-1, 7-15 and 3-0. The Indians won their 3rd State Championship in the last forur years with a 47-34 win against the Martin's Mill Mustangs at the AlamoDome. The highlight of the Championship game for the Indians was being successful on 16 out of 16 free throw attempts... ALL in the fourth quater. Congtratulations to Head Coach Brent Gaylor, his assistants and all the Indians for another great season! ++++++++ The Class 2A-Div 2, District 11 Champion LIPAN LADY INDIANS (35-5) are now the 2026 Class 2A-Div 2 STATE CHAMPIONS!!! The Lady Indians won their fourth State Title with a 42-35 victory over Martin's Mill at the AlamoDome.
